Hiding Under-Eye Wrinkles isn’t as difficult as it Seems

How-to-Deal-with-Under-Eye-Wrinkles1 (1)Attempting to hide under eye wrinkles may be the best strategy to employ. Aging is a part of life and sometimes that brings with it wrinkles. Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes can be difficult to manage since the skin is constantly being bunched in that region of the face. However, there are ways to diminish the appearance of under eye issues.

Think Cucumber

The scene is probably one played out in a movie or a TV show. A person is relaxing with some sort of face mask on and a cucumber slice over each eye. Well, art is an imitation of life because that is a real results trick. The cucumber helps decrease eye puffiness and moisturizes the skin around the eye resulting in less obvious wrinkles.

Lotions and Moisturizers

Helping the skin retain elasticity will help hide wrinkles around the eye. Often times an anti-aging cream, lotion, and/or moisturizer is required to replenish the skin with the necessary nutrients. Essential oils are a great resource to care for the skin effectively. In order for skin to be healthy it has to be given an opportunity to heal. This means cleaning daily and moisturizing often.

Makeup Tips

A woman is quick to grab the cosmetic bag when the reflection in the mirror screams “wrinkle!” While cucumber slices, eating better, drinking less, and using anti-aging skin care will all help decrease the overall appearance of wrinkles, those things all take time. Makeup can be instant.

The trick to applying makeup on under eye wrinkles is to tread lightly. Don’t fill in too much or the makeup will only crack revealing more lines. Lightly apply foundation and a top coat of powder. Use a soft eyeshadow to help draw attention to the eyes but keep the focus on color not shape.
